Graffiti With Something to Say

Street artist Mobstr always ensures his work says something...literally. His sarcastic, pithy messages are a refreshing and humorous alternative to all the political graffiti many of us are used to seeing. Plus, they have the benefit of being something you can't disagree with.

What's a kitty foster mother to do when her little ones are upset about being temporarily displaced by a fire? Distract them with a Furby, of course!

Walt Disney's Childhood Home Could Be Yours

If you're one of those people who eat, sleep and breathe Disney, then here's your chance to take your obsession up another notch -by living in Walt's childhood home and birthplace.

The 3-bedroom Chicago house was built in the 1890's and Disney was actually born in the second story in 1901. Best of all, this great piece of Disney history is only $179,000 -$100,000 less than the owners originally listed it for a few years ago.

Build Your Own LEGO CD Case

UK band Camp America recently released a new album. While I've never even heard of the band, I've gotta say, I like their idea for a limited edition cd case. These special cases come in 125 pieces with instructions on how to put them together in order to build your own CD case. Now that's some good geek marketing.

This Monster Book Cover Can Help Protect Your Diary

If only there was a quick spell available to make this book cover come to life, he would serve as an awesome guardian against privacy invaders. Of course, anyone who saw the movies or read the book would know that all you have to do is scratch his spine and he'll open right up for you. Oh well, it's still pretty cute, even if it is inanimate.

The Perfect Target Practice For Geeks

This delightful target artwork by DeviantArt user thecrow65 is titled "Stormtrooper Target VIII," but I think anyone who hated Episode One would be just as happy to take aim at Jar Jar. Of course, the rest of the Stormtrooper targets are characters that many geeks would defend with their lives. Still it's nice to know we all have some common ground.

Is This The Geekiest Wedding Ever?

What do you get when you combine Star Wars, zombies, Reservoir Dogs and It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia? You get the awesome photos from Deyanna and Dustin's geektastically amazing wedding. If the pictures aren't enough to sell you on this wedding, consider this: the maid of honor and best man did a reading from Calvin and Hobbes during the ceremony.

On a hot day, sometimes you just have to take a sip of water wherever you can -even if it's out of a hose, and even if there are a few others trying to get a drink at the same time.

Visualizing Space Based on Place Names

It's hard to imagine the crab nebula and lagoon nebula in your head, but with the cool artworks that make up the Zoological Universe make the names seem more sensible and make the beauty of these photos of space even easier to appreciate.

A Toyota Lamborghini?

Want a Lamborghini but only have about $66,000? Well, you can always settle for all the style and none of the substance with this sweet Toyota MR2 disguised as the famous speedster. Personally, I'd rather buy a decent used car and put a down payment on a house.

Bad Consumer, No Doughnut!

If you've ever worked in retail, then you know just how terrible some customers are. Fortunately, if you want to feel better about your own experiences, there's now a great Reddit thread filled with venting retail workers, some of whom have the worst stories I've ever heard, like this one:
Yesterday while I was helping out in Best Buy, a woman approached me with a pink plastic phone case asking how many txt messages it could store in an inbox....

I said she needed to have a cell phone for that. She clearly did not understand.

After about 10 minutes of trying to explain that the case was solely for style/protective purposes, I sent her over to the phone department and let them deal with her for the next HOUR.

Working at Guitar Center, I have a few terrible stories of my own. What about you guys? Feel free to share them in the comments.
