Most animal trophies are made from taxidermied animals killed during a hunt, but artist Courtney Timmermans make hers out of BB gun bullets. The ball bearing creations form her Urban Herd exhibition, which seems a particularly apt name for animals made totally out of metal.

Make recently put up a touching tribute to the creativity of Mr. Rogers, but while the article was great, it was the picture of a yarn bombed statue of the celebrity that really caught my eye. The sweater was given to the statue by artist Alicia Kachmar back in 2011 and it might just be the most fitting tribute of them all.

Ace and Karla knew they wanted to do a geeky set of photos to celebrate their engagement, but they couldn't decide between Scott Pilgrim, The Matrix, Harry Potter or Alice In Wonderland. Finally, they stopped trying to pick one and just did them all with the help of photographer Jervy Santiago, who previously shot this Archie Comics engagement photo.
The end result was a set of engagement photos that would make any geek couple jealous.
