I've seen plenty of companies with absolutely no legal grounds to threaten someone and they still do it in a totally rude manner knowing that their team of high-priced lawyers can screw over a small company or individual even if they are completely in the wrong. Jack Daniels didn't have to be nice, they chose to be.
You know, as long as they have litter boxes or dirt, the cats probably won't poop or pee in the museum, especially considering the caretakers probably clean up said litter boxes/dirt.
