It's a personal choice, really. I always thought the Boomaknives were a little better made than the Knifearangs.

There is a shot in Independence Day involving a view of an airfield through an out of focus chain link fence. The blur was done digitally and kept looking more like a Gaussian blur than a true lens blur, so back it would go. The shot showed up in dailies so many times the director started calling it Fence: The Movie
