Well, as a Canadian and a great supporter of the democratic process allow me to congratulate the American people for voting in what is most certainly a historical event. Record number of voters and various societal changes have occurred today. Lets hope that in the coming months things will get better. :) Bury the hatchet of the past and look towards the future!
I was going to say the early ancestor of the jelly fish. Or the star fish since the star fish family seems to have quite a few squishy and odd shaped ones among them.
Well, at least with this tech we can clone animals whose populations are dwindling. As well, if possible we can use this to clone organs without having to get into the big hoopla over stem cells.
I'm glad all you folks are enjoying this gem of a find! :)
I could easily imagine a company solely dedicated to do this type of thing placing such devices around the globe and using the suns rays to power cities.
You can of it like the solar version of Shell. We're still watching the infant steps to full realization of this power producing method. It's exciting to think about.
And still stand by the fantastical idea of solar based weapons. ;) If anything we maybe able to BBQ food from them!
I had always wondered if using the same concept of building production plants out on the sea can be turned into desalination plants. Oil is pretty much a problem today but potable water is the supposed next big thing that will cause global problems.
Other than that I think it's a great idea for Biomass Power Systems like these. Although I'm not as interested in the bizarre architecture ad structure of them.
Thank you! :D
Great link! Would love to see pictures of the racks in front of the ROM also put up. :)
