A long time ago, I received a letter from a farmer from India who proudly claimed that he's just realized that he's an organic farmer. Before, he thought he was simply a poor farmer because he couldn't afford fertilizers!
I suppose it's quite rare for big cruise ships to be caught in a hurricane, because they typically don't sail during hurricane seasons. Weather prediction also makes it so they can sail away from oncoming storms.

So, now every time you go to watch an M Night movie, you expect an unexpected twist. If you happen to guess the twist, then you're disappointed. And if it's not twisty enough, then you're disappointed.
He should've mixed it up - twist movie, then no twist movie. Keep the audience guessing!
