For political pollings, Rasmussen is more accurate. It called more races correctly at 78% than Gallup (69%) and Pew Research (50%). Rasmussen skews Republican. There are other polls that actually perform better than Rasmussen (LA Times, for example, has higher accuracy at 85%. YouGov at 89%). And, of course, there are many polls that performed worse than Rasmussen, too. Bias remains a big factor in polling, and I doubt it can be completely removed.
Good question! I assume that the weight of the launch vehicle is relatively small compared to the weight of the spinning apparatus so there's no big imbalance upon launch.
