i've never dropped, but i'm pretty sure it's crap depicted like this that prevents me from doing so. just the FAKE description makes me say "wow.. that looks REALLY stupid." also, i'm not a fan of intoxicants that cause damage. but great episode! i loved watching dragnet when i was little.

how terrible that must be.. i have dreadlocks and my scalp itches because i can't really wash them every single day, and using conditioner to saturate my skin just makes the dreads loose. so i've had some bad itches at times and have had to mentally disable myself from scratching because it was just so persistent and ridiculous. (why have them at all, you may be asking? it's difficult to come to terms with shaving your head when you're female). but i can empathize with constant itching.. it sucks. i could barely deal with poison ivy when i was a kid, but not having any sort of relief would drive me absolutely insane.

though it is her choice and doing, it's hard for me to say that cat-calls and comments like "i'd tap that" aren't just fueling the fire.

i mean, what does that say about YOU when you say "yea she's a whore, but i'd stick my D in her Va-G." doesn't make you look much better, and DEFINITELY doesn't help her case.

don't think i'm trying to stand up for her poor decision.. but the only reason women act like this is because they know it will get them attention from men, regarless of whether its positive attention or sexist commentary. and the reason men make such comments? because they think women like it. let me tell you-- we don't. so stop it.

you're fine, adam. you can post videos, but maybe try to post really awesome ones and not just run-of-the-mill, MTV-over-played-it-last-week, i-pod commercial videos.

oh god i hate "teamwork" and "team-player" SOO much. i understand the connection we're supposed to make with it, but JEEBUS! it's just an ideal image they want us to associate with..

Be a team player, golly-gee willikers!

hmmm.. How 'bout you go f*ck yourself and I'll collaborate with my co-workers instead.

@ ursula-- you're exactly right. (don't you wish you could change the world with your lonely comment? i always do..) the worldly culture will continue to perpetuate this crap until the same worldly culture realizes it's all wrong.. but that will never happen because like 'colo' said, it's all about money these days. and it's not even money, per se, it's the status that comes with it. and it's not even how much money you have, it's how much you APPEAR to have.

max weber coined this money/status relationship in sociology long before it was such a huge problem (as it is today). the best example comes from a window washer- while doing his job atop high-rise buildings on manhatten island, NY, he would see inside these expensive pent houses and apartments. he thought how nice it would be to live in one of these expensive abodes, until he saw what was actually contained inside most of them: absolutely nothing. people would spend loads upon LOADS of money just to be able to have that boulevard address, not allowing them to afford much of anything else. what an illustration of american culture. we flash our spending abilities every single day as means of displaying status. why else would girls flock to buy fake prada/gucci/louie vutton bags? why else would people buy pleather? why else do sports cars even exist? all these are to flex the muscles of our wallet, regardless of whether there's any money in it.. hence our credit-card dependence.

do 'bad boys' APPEAR to be wealthy? some yes, some no. there's the 007 bad-boy wearing a nice suit driving a nice car, and then there's the biker bad-boy touting leather and tattoos. the nice suit and car are attractive to women because it says "this man has money to spend and a good time to have," while the biker-boy is attractive because he appears to be "broken" and women need something to fix. i've dated both of them, and they both suck. i'm keeping my video-game geek because he's soft, poor, and he loves me unconditionally.

it's beautiful! too bad it's an ad, but hey-- at least they didn't waste resources to make a giant plastic banner with non-biodegratable paints, only to throw it away a couple months later adding to the world-wide problem of too much human refuse and not enough space to put it.

thanks big pharma.. you taught us potheads something we DIDN'T know.

but anyway-- so, ice on mars, eh? anyone really know why we're exploring dead planets? what difference would it make if we knew there was ice on mars? WOO HOO ICE ON MARS! NOW WE CAN... wait.. what can we do now?

some people say "oh golly-- knowing there was life on mars, now we can live there!" no, wrong. we shouldn't live there. why? because we have enough problems to fix here, and we shouldn't drag another planet into our mess. it's that exact mentality that has gotten us into so much trouble here on our own planet.. the mentality that we can just replace what we've broken with something shiney and new. yes yes, i know people do it all the time-- that's why places like wal-mart still exist. but what happened to the REAL conservatives? not the neo-con bobble-heads on "faux" news, the REAL people who actually utilize their resources and save them at the same time-- not just throw them away only to buy a new one. exploration on mars is neat, don't get me wrong. exploration of anything outside our giant ball of rock is neat, but i really think we're wasting a lot of money and man-power just to discover ice on a nearby planet.

interesting (and not surprising) hypothesis..

man see boobs. needs shoot load. no shoot load now? man eat cheeseburger instead.

i don't know.. most men would prefer to choke the mokey before reaching for an item of food, of course only if the moment presents itself.
