Jeff Boen's Comments

I *highly* recommend the films of Tarsem Singh ("The Cell", "The Fall") as he has used more than one of these locations as backdrops. What the stories may lack, his visual sense more than makes up for.

To quote a good friend of mine years ago when I was opining about this very thing, how the definition of beauty had changed significantly throughout the centuries... he replied "Well, no matter what body type/shape was seen to be ideal, one thing has always been (and probably always will be) considered beautiful... youth"

That's too bad. I'm marginal on Moore, but his stuff is *far* from the cream.

If you haven't, take a look at "The Thin Blue Line" (Erroll Morris, the *king* of good docs), "Paradise Lost (1-3)", "Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room", "Unraveled", "Touching the Void", "TalHotBlond"... just to name a few really good ones off the top of my head. Docs are too good to dismiss them just because of Moore's weak pandering.

"Read the full story, including what drove the two to return the cash..."
That's a little disheartening... what "drove" them to return the cash? (insert obligatory "their car" joke here... but I digress)
How about that it was the correct, ethical, integrity-based thing to do? Sad to think we would need someone to explain why people would be motivated to do the right thing. Even sadder that they had to contemplate it first.

Looks like a Bengal. I have one and they tend to, unlike most felines, *love* water. They're bred from and are genetically closer to their big cat cousins than the usual domestics, so they have many of their qualities.

Don't worry, they all know who Kim Kardashian and Nicki Minaj are (I had to check spelling on both of those).. so they've got all the really important things in life covered.

Besides, they don't need to know any "common man" items/issues, they're *all* going to be wildly rich and famous and not have to deal with "normal" life when they grow up.

Sounds very similar to hitting a telephone pole's guy wire, which emits a sound like the blasters in Star Wars. I think they actually used a similar technique to generate those sounds back in 1977. We used to do it all the time back then as well.
