I never understand when people bitch about populous states only having 2 senators. What's not to get about the system? The senate was meant for equal representation for each state, while the house was meant as representation based on population and the two were meant to balance one another. It's not complicated.

But, as I always say when people criticize thrillseekers like B.A.S.E. jumpers, etc... if he does die, at least he did it living on the edge, getting more from it than most, as opposed to the statistically-proven rest of us who will have heart attacks due to a bad diet or die in a car wreck on our way to work our dull jobs. You have to go sometime, so why not live memorably in the interim? ;)

Ummm... wings provide lift, not forward acceleration/momentum. Who were these charlatans? At the very least, a sail-type design would be more along the lines of accomplishing what they were trying to do... and were destined to fail at in either case.
