on the subject of "resetting"

Zimbabweans are only allowed to withdraw $100bn a day from the bank, that's less than half the cost of a loaf of bread. So regardless of zeros being removed, people cannot buy bread.

it doesn't really matter what the number is, whether your pay cheque says $1,000,000,000,000 or $100, but if a loaf of bread costs a weeks wages then the trouble remains.

a viral ad, no doubt.

Notice that everyone in these pictures is quite good looking and/or cute , they all look like proffesional types . Proffesional types in London ... Do not stop .. ever !
Londoners special talent is "walking quickly past stuff like their life depends on it" . I would have more confidence in this if the range of people looked like : one scruffy guy with a hoodie and a thin dog, a mad looking fat guy with loose elasticated trousers, two evil looking teens with furtive leers, a drunk bloke just barely standing up. Those are the characters who would even care about this in London.

plus, these photos are too high quality.

Perhaps simply witnessing the stupidity of others on the web has given us the evolutionary signal that we can try less hard.
Reading too many youtube video comments has signaled to our hindbrains that we are wastefully over-competitive compared to the idiot hordes.

the daily mail is, for the Uk, quite a reactionary newspaper and this interpretation of the study would suit them very well.

I would recommend you read something a little more impartial like The UK National Health Service analysis of this same study.

http://www.nhs.uk/news/2008/06June/Pages/Cannabisuseandpsychosis.aspx

which tells us some interesting things about the study, - including:

Importantly, a positive “score” on the PROD-screen questionnaire does not diagnose psychosis. It is used to indicate whether a person is entering the period of early symptoms or changes in function that may come before psychosis. However, even for this, the score is not 100% accurate at predicting psychosis, or even proven as a tool for diagnosing the prodrome. The researchers used a shortened form of the original PROD-screen questionnaire (they reduced it from 21 questions to 12). It is unclear what effect this would have on the overall accuracy of the screening test. If it was too inclusive, i.e. there were a high number of false-positives, the relationship between drug use and symptoms would have been overstated.

the whole audio track sounds as fake as hell, like a tired sound effects record. The horn, the gulls, the splash. I surprised we didn't get a burst of overplayed rumbling thunder, or track 172: the wilhelm scream

I couldn't see it when I was a normal distance from my screen, but as I stepped back it became obvious. At 6 feet away it is as clear as day.

The weirdest thing is that it distorts like a lens as I move backwards and forwards. Freaky!

I just realised - if any country wants to invade another without opposition ... be cute!

I can imagine the cries from residents as the army storms town, "look at their little feet"

the worst part? I'm serious!

I don't throw much away, but I know who does.

I was in our local supermarket late at night, about to buy some bread from the 'bakery' stand, but an employee was standing there. Thinking he may be about to price it down I waited while he did his thing.
To my surprise he swept about 30 loaves, 40 bagels, 40 buns, 30 or so cream cakes, cookies, and much more ... into a big big plastic sack and threw it away. The big bin was in the car park near my car so I watched that happen, it certainly wasn't destined for a homeless shelter.

The bread products had reached their sell-by date and so they all went in the bin. Those loaves, if I had picked on up a second sooner, would have cost me around £1. The total cost of what they throw away every day is staggering.
And this was just a small local branch, with about 4 isles, not one of the huge places.
Tescos, every little helps (!)

To get a really firm handshake simply use your thumb to press on their middle knuckle so it flips in... then squeeze like crazy.
Now say in a confident voice "I want your job, give it to me NOW!!!". They will do whatever you say.

You can easily get to be CEO with this technique.
