A very valid argument, I like your point that popular music is made for escaping. I think that is dead on.

I also think you are right to point out that there is already a lot of music out there with real content. I agree with you as well- the reason I posted this is not because Macklemore is my favorite artist, indeed he is not, but because I think his music has the chance to infiltrate popular culture. Hopefully it will open people up to the idea that better music out there.

Father and definer of true Science Fiction, Isaac Asimov! Examples - Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep (Philip K Dick), Frankenstein (Mary Shelley), Solaris (Stanislaw Lem), Foundation (Asimov) and so on. None of this space fantasy rubbish... example - Star Wars. Yeah.. I said it.

It's now between 2,441 miles and 2,466 miles away from my house/apt (depending on what route you take). It was the last two years of school.

My friend suggested this to me and I think he might be right- the books are made of wood. It is hard to tell, but it is possible that just the covers are on the books and they are used over extra blocks of wood someone had laying around. If you look at one of the middle books the "pages" are brown.. I have never seen a brown book like that before but I have seen brown wood. That being said this is only a theory and I am not saying it is necessarily correct.

This was probably my favorite of the paradoxes. While yes the logic does seem flawed at first look, the premise for Friday is correct. It seems like there are obvious holes in the thinking, but if you follow his steps I am not sure I can't point out exactly where they are. Anyway, well done Berhard. Love the enthusiasm!

Can we all start coming to work in historical costumes? I call dibs on John Wayne, Andy Warhol, and Reagan. "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!"

Hey thanks for the info! I did not see the connection until you commented, but now that you have I see the clear similarities. I wonder what connection LUDO has to "The Ripper", maybe he grew up a skateboarder?

Hey, so searching around the internet a bit I found a video on youtube. It is a bit dated but originally aired on the Science Channel. It is an interview, but there are a few clips of him playing.
