I am glad that children were taken out of danger (if they were in danger), but I feel like something is missing here.
I think maybe the "captured them in a day and a half" thing is what is throwing me...

I'm surprised they even GOT together to have a kid the way gangs are so "particular" *cough* about who they associate with.

Windowshoppist: I agree.
bean: seriously? i hope you're being sarcastic...

I am very pro-animal rights but I understand different animals are viewed and treated differently in other parts of the world.
What shocked me what the fact that they were flattened. It looks like something that happens to Wyle E. Coyote every other episode...it's just not something I expected...

What about orphaned children? Or the thousands of dogs and cats and other DOMESTIC animals in shelters?

Ooh, better yet, what about learning to deal like people have forEVER until now?

People will so readily call animals family but still get rid of them when they become an inconvenience. At least when that happens with human children, someone (usually) has to pay the price.
People need to understand the emotional and physical investment it takes to raise an animal, no matter what species.

Alex Fear, I love you.
I've met people who simply refuse to learn, so yeah, you laugh and try to help, but there will always be those who point blank will not learn.

Maybe it's that jesus is great ball of fire. As in "Goodness Gracious, Great Balls of Fire!...Jesus!"

It's funny. But hard to say why.

I'm in Ohio and I understand it. Maybe people wouldn't want California to float away if it was Mexican. Just an idea.
I love Absolut ads in general. Very creative.

I read a book called "Possessed" about the possession and exorcism of Robbie Doe. I forget who it's by, but it was a really good book, and a lot more believable than the Exorcist (the movie, the book was really good).
And from what I have read, I believe today, when a Catholic priest performs an exorcism, it must be okayed by the Vatican, performed by a trained Exorcist, and attended by a medical doctor and psychologist/psychiatrist.
@Leah: I think that's really neat you can add some personal familial insight into the movie. Also, everyone tries to spell my name like yours. :P
@Ty: Robbie Doe is the second one on the list!
