That was done on Public Access on a show called Fusion Patrol in 1995 only it was called an Origami Soccer Ball. The resemblance is uncanny between that crumpled up piece of paper and this so-called boulder.
Apparently, they spent too much time making sure the French language is not infected by foreign infliuences and not enough time making sure basic science is taught in schools.
I wonder if they've got a prior art claim?
