As someone who just helped cast a short film I can tell you voice over work doesn't come cheep. If this guy charged half what the guy we hired did he could buy all the meth he would ever need.
I am pretty sure an elephant has a larger brain than I do, and I know elephants are pretty smart as far as beast goes, but I don't think you could teach one differential calculus.
So is brain size really an indication of intelligence.
I was pretty much raised by TV. And this was the late 80s early 90s so I MEAN TV, not the internet like kids these days.
I only have two of the eight. I am overweight and I do have a short attention span, and only one of those I can blame on TV. The other I have to blame on those 2000 calorie lunchable packs I used to eat.
Don't forget it was former SS Sturmbannführer Werner Von Braun's Redstone (which is basically a slightly upgraded V2)which launch the satellite that discovered the radiation belts
You shouldn't be thankful for where you were born or not, land has very little to do with it, except extreme cases like the desert.
You should be thankful for all those that came before you and made where you live a nice enough place where you can enjoy things like Neatorama, and you should consider those who will come after you in your daily life.
There is no difference between here and there other than the people who came before you.
I know these must be pretty tamed gators that are well fed and around people a lot, but these gators are still wild, and very primitive, they are really pressing their luck.
Like they say, every bomb maker is missing a finger.
No matter how familiar you think and animal is, how well you think you can control it, it is still wild and unpredictable.
Fingernails or a spacewalk? Bring me a fifth of rum and a pair of pliers.
But seriously, NASA spends so much money on crap (according to Nasa admin Charlie Bouldin the third largest expenditure of NASA is educational outreach programs to 'Muslim' nations) you would think they would have spent a little more on stuff they have been using extensively for decades now.

In this case the bigger machine is actually more efficient that using lots of smaller ones.
Also, if you want, there are still parts of this world where you can live as a hunter gatherer. Not really nice places, though.
I live 30 minuets away from the filming site and the traffic mess that resulted in the road closure made my commute twice as long.
The whole metro area gets messed up when they are filming.
