It’s unfortunate that only 20% of the people walked out of the experiment this time, but considering the audience and the event, it doesn’t surprise me it’s that low. It's quite impressive to see how far people have gotten to overcome their physical disabilities throught technology and self motivation. It looks like the jury rigging of the human machine has picked up in pace. While it's still in it's infancy with some pretty high costs, it's on the right track. Wonder how far we are off we are from the Cybernetic Olympics.

I hope Portman does the book justice.

I've always found it amusing with reading the details and background stories of bestiary figures, and get a chuckle out of the vague and simple ways to deal with them which rarely explain why/how they work. The stories of the Dullahan make me wonder if they were an attempt by bandits to provoke travelers to carry gold on themselves.

I like how the idea of book trailers is catching on more.
