Special of the week: A whole beef patty with crushed pine nuts & pepper corns, dipped in rich creamery olive oil and served on a high gluten wheat bun. We call it the Octavian Burger.

At least they are getting a proper education in risk management. Kids are bat shit crazy anyways, and this is probably the least of your concerns for your child in Colombia with drug wars going on.

@Clynch

Probably takes a bus to a certain point, and then walks the rest of the way up.

I used to own a mini record which was connected to a card board sleeve which would open and had a metal tip which would rest on the record, and would play by doing a circular pattern with your finger against this plastic button.

If they didn't know about it then, it's about time they learned about it now. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. I'm sure wavers were handed out to save themselves from lawsuits.

It’s unfortunate that only 20% of the people walked out of the experiment this time, but considering the audience and the event, it doesn’t surprise me it’s that low. Don't shed tears for those that obey to the bitter end without question; they shed enough for themselves after they see what they have done.

@Funkycpaman

Do you honestly think that them being French was the reason why they followed through with it?

It's quite impressive to see how far people have gotten to overcome their physical disabilities throught technology and self motivation. It looks like the jury rigging of the human machine has picked up in pace. While it's still in it's infancy with some pretty high costs, it's on the right track. Wonder how far we are off we are from the Cybernetic Olympics.

I've always found it amusing with reading the details and background stories of bestiary figures, and get a chuckle out of the vague and simple ways to deal with them which rarely explain why/how they work. The stories of the Dullahan make me wonder if they were an attempt by bandits to provoke travelers to carry gold on themselves.
