I got very sick watching this and barely made it through the movie. I understand the filmmakers were striving for 'realism' but this was a bit much. And some parts like the beginning party dragged on. But the movement was beyond the shaky blair witch type, it seemed like they were deliberately shaking the hand cam in many spots. I know they are greenlighting a sequel of some sorts so hopefully this time they'll cut the excess shaky movements.

Not me, if prices and goods were same, etc., then for sure I'd go for the 100,000. My concern is not what others are making, nor comparing myself to others, but what I can make for myself. There will always be people making more and less than me, so they are not my concern.

I thank the almighty heavens they didn't film this and put it on the internet for the world to see. I hate very public proposals as it is. Do I sound a bit too bitter lately? Too bad!!!

Funny I guessed it right first time. The moment he popped the balloons I thought, alright I think I know what it is.

Agreed, a cool video, something relatively original at least.

Sheesh I am SO over these videos of women stroking their collective egos by filming themselves sing, dance, etc. etc., and posting them on youtube and other sites so they can read all the gushing comments about how hot and sexy they are, etc. etc. etc. Just as annoying as videos of people playing video game tunes.

This video wouldn't be top 10 if it weren't for the dolled up singer. Weak.

Sorry, rant of the day over.

Speaking of historical inaccuracies in film, here's a fun article:

In regards to "Kwai" (from wiki, before the bash fest starts as usual, this isn't in regards to the overall cruelty which no one is disputing, just this particular individual):

"After the war, Toosey saved the life of Sergeant-Major Saito (not a colonel as in the film). Saito was second in command at the camp and was thought to be not as bad as many of the guards. Toosey spoke up for him and as a result Saito did not stand trial. Over 200 Japanese were hanged for their crimes and many more served long prison sentences. Saito respected Toosey greatly and they corresponded after the war. Saito said that "He showed me what a human being should be and he changed the philosophy of my life." After Toosey died, Saito travelled from Japan to visit the grave. Only after Saito died in 1990 did even his family know that Saito had become a Christian."

I'm with John here, you get what you pay for. It's no different than, let's say, a first class passenger getting bells and whistles and all sorts of extras compared to an economy class passenger.

If this is the Times' usual attempt to stir the have and have nots pot, it fails. Even I, as a struggling home owner with multiple bills, do not find this the least bit offensive.

I agree with John, you get what you pay for. I'm sure these one million plus home owners aren't exactly paying for chump change on the fees. It's no different than, let's say, a first class airline passenger getting lots more bells and whistles and goodies compared to economy class.

Perhaps it was an attempt by the Times to stir the have and have not pot as usual, but sorry, as a struggling homeowner wracked with bills myself, I don't feel one bit that any of this is wrong.
