Ah America always gets the best candy! We had to wait for about twenty years for Jelly Belly to get over here, and there's still loads of awesome stuff you guys have which we don't have yet (taffy, Tootsie Rolls, Twinkies...).

I think Robin Williams is really overrated to be honest.
I understand that he's good at just getting up on the spot and improvising, but most of the stuff he improvises just isn't that funny. And I find it hard to understand how he can believe that just putting on a funny voice and saying stuff constitutes humour.
Also there's a BBC America? That kind of goes against the name (BRITISH Broadcasting Corporation),doesn't it?

This was on the news yesterday and my mum wouldn't believe her boyfriend when he told her about it. She thought it was an April Fools, so I had to get the page up on wired (and even then she didn't believe me straight away...)

You'd need a few extra rules though:
1) We are English, not stupid. You do not need to speak louder to us.
2) Don't attempt to start a conversation with the person you are sitting next to on the bus/train (loads of tourists do this...). British people don't really start up conversations with strangers (forget everything you heard about Brits being friendlier than Americans: it's completely the opposite).
3) No, we don't all know Prince William. Or Hugh Grant. Or Keira Knightley. Yes Britain is smaller than America, but it's still got the same number of people as Texas, California and New York combined.
4) WE DRIVE ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE ROAD.
