As a car driver and bicycle rider you can shove that parking ticket. If you pay a parking fine you should not be ticketed unless you are an excessive amount of time. That means the city should make a study of the surrounding businesses and determine a proper amount of time for parking.

Considering one of my first jobs hinged on ash, I can understand why they want to save it. It's a very usable wood for all types of products. I'm not a tree hugger or capitalist pig, but I do believe in renewable resources such as the Ash tree should survive.
