Masterpieces in Coffee

You've probably heard all about the art of drinking coffee, but Karen Eland took that to a higher level and made an art of painting with coffee. Have a look at some of the world's greatest masterpieces, such as Mona Lisa, or the scene from the Sistine Chapel expressed in espresso! Eland also talks about her technique and how it came about.

I love the sepia tone qualites of the art work. I've always wanted to do portraits with a monotone motiff.

So.... A beach orgy is a good place to catch crabs?

"By sunrise, most of the crabs will have vanished." Oh, that's so not true.

A lot of them get flipped onto their backs (all of the piling up of the orgy and whatnot) and if you look at the things you can see that there's no way for them to right themselves. So come morning, the Delaware beaches are COVERED with dead and dying horseshoe crabs. Many shorebirds feast on them, but after a day or so in the summer sun the crabs start to really stink.
