His eye sockets are shallow, which is bred into some dog breeds so their eyes look big and appealing. Sadly, it also means they are prone to catastrophic injury to their eyes. Just keep that in mind when you're tempted to buy a pure-bred puppy (which probably came from a puppy mill).
Since one of the greatest risk factors for childhood obesity is poor maternal nutrition during pregnancy, it'd be good to see that aspect of the problem addressed.
I know, I'm dreaming, but a campaign to get pregnant women to eat more nutritious foods and keep an adequate level of nutrition flowing to their embryos and fetuses would address the problem more effectively. Of course, WIC would have to be beefed up, but that would drive the wingnuts crazy!
It never fails to dismay me that imaginary explanations are far more attractive to so many people when perfectly reasonable - and MUCH more likely - explanations exist.

Anyway, thanks for posting the video. How about next time leave UFO's out of it? Extra-terrestrials which have the technology to reach distant solar systems aren't likely to be using it to put on light shows, make crop circles, nor appear to drunken individuals in rural areas!
Gryphon, I'm with you. I'm one of 9 (parents were religious and my mom liked being pregnant) and there was never enough love and attention. Of the 9 of us, 5 have major mental illnesses and two are alcoholic. The two 'sane' ones are the youngest, who spent their formative years after everyone else moved out of the house -- for them, it was a family of four.
The Duggars are not only environmentally damaging, but are also damaging to their children.
They are uncaring and foolish in fundamental (and fundamentalist) ways. Too bad Neatorama is giving them publicity!
