I always thought that having an evening wedding and releasing a bunch of little lanterns like these would so much more interesting than rice or bubbles. My husband does not agree. D:
How are they making a few selfish adults not feel left out? Even with a small victory like this, there are people such as yourself who will always make them feel smaller and less worthwhile.
It's not always about raising a child either. Many LGBT are already raising children without being married. Or even just on their own. And many have no plans to raise children, just like quite a lot of heterosexual couples. There are countless reasons why a gay couple would like to be married that go beyond children and basing an entire argument on that is pretty flimsy. (Consider how many unmarried straight people have children..)
How about an American who wants to bring their foreign partner to live with them, or a partner needs to make a critical medical decision, financial benefits, and the list goes on and on. Denying them these basic civil rights goes against so much of what America is supposed to stand for, whether you agree with their personal bedroom preferences or not.
So for the record, no, I do not know you're right and I do not agree with you.
@Edward, Lots of European countries have this sort of thing. In a large building they will rent out separate rooms and the rooms will be equipped with a shower stall, or in this case, a bath. Usually there's a communal toilet in the hall. Sometimes if you're lucky there might even be a tiny kitchenette, though most people just have a hotplate and a microwave.
I also agree with marishka, while Bunk seems to be having lots of fun, inhaling one of those popped balloons could be very bad. D: Luckily nothing happened. ;)
@WordyGrrl, actually, you have that backwards. This is the little mentioned downsides of non 'organic' meat. Antibiotics and hormones are used constantly in animal feed to make them fatter for butchering. The overuse of these antibiotics results in resistant strains of infectious diseases. Not only in the animals that are butchered, but the people who eat them. They also overuse antibiotics because the animals are stacked one on top of each other, creating more of a breading ground for illness. I don't know of any organic farm that is against using antibiotics if an animal has an infection, that is silly. I'm not sure where you heard that from.
@Frau, it looks like the bird is free, in a few of the other videos it can be seen flying all over. There are plenty of cases where an animal decides that a human is its friend and just decides to stick around. Much like this goose and older gentleman... http://abcnews.go.com/US/video/unlikely-love-goose-befriends-retiree-12922051
