If I loved my wife I never ever would point a gun even remotely in her direction. Waait a moment! I never ever would point a gun in anybodies direction...

I am with Tony here.
We get those bloody ads forced down our throat ALL THE TIME. You know why I use adblock and don't feel ashamed the tyniest little bit? It's not because I would not want to support good sites; it's because I can't stand it anymore. I won't take this messing with my unconsciousness if I can help it. I don't want to see or hear this nervous shite ever again. My mind has THE RIGHT to be left alone. We live with a constant stimulus overdose, and this sickens me. It makes me want to vomit. So for me, every ad I did not see or hear is the only ad I can and will accept. If I can't get rid of the ads (zapping away, adblock and so forth) I just won't consume the content around it. Same goes for games.

"It ain’t true. Its murder rate is over twice that of, for example, England. A while ago I looked out the murder by gun rate and that was even higher, comparitively."

Stop telling completely BS already.

He plays guitar hero a few hours a day...

That is about the most stupid and useless nonsense thing you can do with your life. Get a real guitar and practice a few hours a day - that would be something. But guitar hero? I would really love to smack some sense into his parents...

I remember this one night when I was hungry, went to the kitchen and ate this innoocent looking 5 days past due strawberry yoghourt. It tasted funny though and while I was throwing the empty thing into the bin I looked at the expiry date again; it was 3 MONTHS and 5 days over it's goodness date... But everything was fine. No problems at all. Lucky hungry and stoned bastard...

There are some kinds of food though where you have to be very careful:

Fresh eggs for mayonnaise: Their immune system keeps salmonella at bay for about 8 days; after this you are a fool to use it in uncooked food. (And yes: there are salmonella in every egg and chicken you buy...)

Meat: Is a perfect medium for all the bacteria and tapeworm larvae and whatnot it brings along with itself; always cook well and use proper hygiene when a little too old. When it's much older (10 days or so) or smells funny throw away...

Fish: Sushi anyone? Be sure you buy at a serious fishmarket and ask specifically for sushi-fish. Use the same or the next day.

Bread: Some kinds of fungi (especially the nasty red one) grow hyphae all the way through it, and their metabolic by-products can be hazardous.

Vegetables: Same as for fungi: Some spot on your tomato might mean that the whole thing is better thrown away...

Marmelade: It is generally ok to scratch the top layer of fungi off. The sugar concentration is so high that the fungi can't grow into it. On the top the sugar concentration however is gradually diminishing meaning they can gro on top. But be aware: "light" marmelade has so little sugar that it doesn't hinder the fungi from growing into the whole glass at all!

Happy eating everyone!
