Walmart has, Actually, gotten better about some of this... And also moved away from the 'We don't give you benefits - So go apply for low income social support from your local government' routine.

But, this article really didn't put me at ease about the biggest problems I've had with walmart - The fact that WalMart is the single largest importer from China, and that their practice of holding the market share that companies who sell through them hostage for lower prices tends to drive companies to outsource. Walmart so widely distributes their suppliers products that they rely on Walmart for double-digit portions of their sales, and then tells them to lower prices for Walmart next year, or see those sales disappear and be dropped as a supplier...

With Cathy on this one. A lot of the above responses are just talking points. The 'Making Money' issue is true well beyond Climate Change profiteers, hardly a unique matter.

There's a vast difference between being able to cite the same three global cooling / global warming debunking websites, and understanding the scientific concensus.

How many of the above people have ever even accessed scientific journals? Why does our media cover these stories about small numbers of scientists who don't even submit peer-reviewed papers?

... Also, why is this Article from *April* making the rounds again? it refuses to die.

Note the entire Wikipedia article is about the 70's predictions, with almost no current data.

I'm sure that all of these organizations are just in it for the grant money, right?

Indexed is clever because it mingles pie charts, graphs, and everything else with the index card wrapping it all up in a neat thematic package. I think that this is a little bit less.. Clear? The graph used isn't as straight forward as the ones indexed uses, and it's not nearly as precise about the points it seeks to make.

Then again, Maybe it's just my advanced statistics courses speaking out.

For those making the invasion and 'lack of explanation' comments, The Trailer is more about appealing to people who already understand about Super Mutants, and the Fallout Timeline.

And, to claim that fallout is all about violence is misleading. It's a series of amazing, deep RPGs.

And then there's the violence.

But, if you'd like to catch up and enjoy one of the richest RPG worlds, well, ever...

Actually, It's the last boss from Phantasy Stat 4, one of the Genesis' better RPGs. I highly recommend Thunder Force 4 / Lightning Force too, one of the best rail shooters -Ever-.

I think that anyone who wants a designer cat ought to get at least one rescue kitty. I am too much of a Tiger Fan not to like this idea... But, I also prefer rescues.

I honestly doubt that they do anything unethical with the kittens that don't fit the ideal, aside from keeping them from passing on their genes in the purebred line.

In fact, ideal for the new breed or not, I'm sure there are some VASTLY pretty Toyger 'rejects'...

It seems like a an ornate Coat Rack....

or some kind of holder. Probably not a coat rack :D

The mechanism is clearly pliers-like, with a rubber band to keep it shut, and the board looks like it mounts vertically on a wall...

Pure conjecture.
