Now that the Kodiak Wal-mart employees are involved in the movement, I really do hope Wal-mart and Pitbull honor the contest and give the people of Kodiak a great experience. I am sure few (if any) popular musicians include Kodiak on their music tours. Miami (and Los Angeles, for example) will undoubtedly get to enjoy the music stylings of Pitbull again in the near future.

And I hope Pitbull realizes the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to get an all-expenses paid trip to Alaska. I've heard Alaska is incredibly beautiful, and I hope to visit one day.

I do really like this table's design (and it would be better if there was hidden storage space somewhere within it), but somehow I know I would be catching my legs on the extra protruding edges.

I just love the Bell/Rogue mash-up. That is my favorite Rogue outfit, and it blends so well with the Bell look.

Personally, I think that Tiana and Bell are fantastic role models for young girls. They are both smart, driven, and caring individuals. In this case, I think that Ariel is the odd girl out. Though she is the most beloved character of my childhood, and I will point out that she shows the power of looking beyond prejudice and standing up (quite literally) for what you believe in even if it means making sacrifices.

While this seems to be a fairly 'accurate' account of he Krampus mythos, that was incredibly creepy (and great!).

I love Anthony Bourdain, and this fits his style, but perhaps only certain channels would be comfortable airing it.

I am intrigued by this idea. From what I read, this sounds more palpable than the tea "prepared" by the civet cat.

I didn't see any mention to whether any profits would go to his research or to conserving the pandas themselves. That, of course, may make people more likely to spend so much on tea (though I do not pretend to know the purchasing habits of the rich).

These are beautiful! My husband and I have been decorating our home for Dia De Los Muertos and I would have loved to add this to our celebration.

I see that all the skulls have been sold. Not surprised, though I wouldn't have had almost $800 to spend on one myself.

I am not sure if I think this is super cute or a bit odd. I enjoy making tiny felt animals, and this seems fairly similar in theme.

My cat would just eat my creations. That is what he does whenever he finds a clump of wayward hair.

Wow...I came to comment on how I thought this was a great step in the right direction, and found so much negativity.

As a researcher who has become interested in social stratification and health behaviors (as well as educating myself about where my food comes from), I can say that many people here don't realize how much "deprogramming" NEEDS to be done in our society with regards to what we should be eating. That includes the food our own government has told us we should be eating simply because the food product is government subsidized to keep certain companies in power.

Obviously many individuals commenting on this post have had the benefits of education and culture-specific upbringing. Unfortunately, you are not the main targets of food companies seeking to turn profit by selling cheap calories. (Instead, you are the targets of the pseudo-healthy products.)

In regards to the "healthy ethnic" cookbooks, the goal is not to exclude European-Americans but to educate individuals who come from cultures where calorie and fat heavy foods have predominated for generations. The biological value of high calorie/fat foods was still relevant for many individuals who's recent ancestry has been characterized by intense manual labor. Drawing out the healthy components of these traditional meals helps people make the transition from "comfort food like mom cooked" to more health-conscious cooking habits.

Though I am sure the school has specific reasons why they believe this is an important rule, my alma mater allowed each student to bring one outside participant per dance event, with no age restrictions.

I never heard of any problems with attendees over the age of 18. Much of the problems I did hear about involved under age students from visiting schools, probably due to school rivalries and such.

Though the raven himself was amazing, I did not know that ravens would reproduce/mimic voices so well. That makes them even creepier than I thought :/

But creepy is okay in my book! Just might not get a raven anytime soon.

Hahahaha, is it okay that the only reason I kept watching this was because I realized I was seeing Patton Oswalt pretending to be a giant baby? Sadly, he must know he looks the part...
