I dream in color. Usually the colors are more vivid than they are in real life. I don't ever recall having dreamed in black and white, come to think of it...
Also, my dreams are notoriously surreal. Some of the scariest nightmares I've ever had were actually "normal" dreams of potential real-life tragedies. They creep the holy heck out of me!

Ahhh, spooky movies! Hubby and I used to be big scary-movie fans before the Kiddo came along. Event Horizon, In the Mouth of Madness, Hellraiser...
The one that scared me the worst though, was so cheesy it could cause gastric distress in the lactose-intolerant: Disney's "The Black Hole". The actual movie was absolutely awful, full of plot holes you could pilot a fleet of space cruisers through. But it had the most pants-wettingly terrifying robot in it, that still gives me a massive case of the heebie-jeebies--and I'm 35!

@ Ali S.
Water balloons sounds like fun...if we're feeling benevolent. Rancid sardines if we're not. ;-)
...and of course, I would absolutely HAVE to have an intelligent white cat named Krosp and an insane middle-aged Norwegian with a white ponytail and red-lensed monocular glasses... /Phil Foglio

That is some serious awesome! Now if they made a huge steampunk-style people-carrying-size version of that, I would soooooo want a ride.

WICKED COOL...but the name gives me a headache. Someone took way too many mescaline and washed it down with absinthe.

I took a semester of vocational college in the vain attempt to become a court reporter (big mistake!). One of the classes involved learning Latin medical terminology.
I was only 17 at the time, surrounded by folks at least 10-20 years older than me. As soon as we grasped enough of the lingo, it was amazing how many of those so-called adults began using their newfound Latin skills...um, "creatively"...
Of course, I didn't restrain myself either... ;-)
And Swedish Tommy, that is absolutely disgusting no matter WHAT language you use.

While a lot of the mortgage crisis can be placed on unscrupulous corporate practices, much can be said about the current mentality of "Hey, we only make $40,000 a year, have $10,000 in credit card debt, are paying off two cars AND their insurance bills and can barely keep the kids in diapers and formula...but we want that $250,000 3-bedroom 2-bath house with the whirlpool spa, too!"
Living above one's means has dire consequences in the long run, and we're seeing them come to fruition. I hope this shakes some folks into realizing that they DON'T need that 5000-square-foot three-story designer home when a cozy 2000 square feet will work just fine!

In the meantime, feel free to pet Terry while you're waiting for your check.
This kid is definitely suffering from a serious psychological disorder. You don't behave like that without some seriously bad mental issues. And like someone else was wondering--where the heck were the parents?!

I prefer the term "Neatoramanaut" myself... :-P
I've read about 95% of the site. Mostly when I got a raging case of insomnia. :-)

I haven't seen all of The Lion King, but I had the misfortune to walk in right at Simba's death scene at a department store once--as I was going through postpartum depression, no less!--and I was a mess for several hours. I don't think I could make it through the rest of the movie without some encouragement and a brisk walk in the park!
