Doesn't cannibalism spread brain disease? Plus, ewwwww. That and in countries where extreme famine has occurred in recent times (China 1960, North Korea)when people do resort to cannibalism there is still wide spread death due to starvation because of the general lack of food. People wait too long to resort to cannibalism (they have been starved for too long so they don't provide enough nourishment)

I have to say that SwissTech Utilikey has saved my ass at work more times then I can count. I'm a computer tech and travel to different buildings at work and sometimes I find myself without a screwdriver because I took it out of my tool bag, it's in the car, I didn't think I needed it because this job is only updating Flash and someone in the hall is all like "hey this is happening." I just have this attached to my car keys and then I always have a screwdriver and some other basic tools. It is really unobtrusive in size and weight on my keyring. In fact it pretty much is like a regular key.

I remember reading an article (that I cannot get to because "games" is blocked at my office) that when Sony removed the support for Linux with an upgrade that this was going to render this stack inoperable.

Those socks are awesome.
Though, going to Tara's website just reminds me that I haven't touch my season 16/17 scarf project in months.
@SenorMysterioso: OMG I totally agree. I'm not a big knitter (see above post) but when I show people pictures they're like "Make me one!" Then I tell them politely that I've not finished this one and the yarn alone costs about $150 per scarf and then I say hell no.
@Ratz: that is the cutest little Dalek ever. If a warped, twisted, evil, robotic shell containing a genetically engineered race hell bent on exterminating the universe can be considered "cute" of course amigurimi makes just about anything cute. :D

I can't help but agree that while it's "neat," as a a vinyl lover seeing a turntable go to waste is a little heartbreaking. I'll just think to myself that it was broken beyond salvageable.

We used to have a friend of the family who did this back in the 80's/90's. I believe he got all 50 by the time he was 30.

1. I agree with not keeping your eye drops next to your super glue. That's asking for trouble.
2. How is it the glue company's responsibility to change their design? I would think that since the eye drops are a medication it would be prudent for them to change. Wouldn't someone making the eyedrops says "this looks like potentially blindness causing glue bottles."

We have this stuff in Indiana too. Though usually it's gas powered scooters that go about 35mph.
As a scooter rider who took the ABATE motorcycle course, this stuff really cheeses me off. A scooter is still a motorcycle. The same physics and safety issues apply. I see kids riding things like this and all I can think that they have no idea how real the danger is.
The problem here is that anything under 50cc engine is not considered a "real" motorcycle according to the BMV (no endorsement, no plate) so people just buy them and ride them and then do stupid things that endanger their lives and the lives of drivers around them.

That's not dedication that's a waste of time. Do the real American thing and do it half-assed-hack the game to get the thing is you want it so bad. Being a gamer myself generally I'm pretty much against cheating to get something in game. However, when the odds are stacked so that you're going to waste your life trying to get some stupid digital thing that doesn't matter even I'm to do some finagling to get said stupid digital thing.

Heck I think that "touch" question might have come up in one of our campaigns.
Once, inspired by the movie "The Gamers" I asked if I could steal someone's pants while they were mooning someone else. I succeeded. :)
