breaking news: animals die sometimes

grow up and deal with it

there is no way this badger was killed to make this theremin specifically more than likely it was a dead animal that was stuffed and then ended up in an antique shop where it was bought and then modified into a theremin case

i deployed for two tours of duty in iraq and lost my legs in a roadside bombing. i spent a lot of time learning about prosthetics while getting acquainted with the ones i now wear and i know that tests like this were implemented to make my prosthetics.

i'm saddened that so many people would see me never walk again in order to prevent monkeys from being subjected to very moderate testing.

humans undergo similar tests and there are no long term effects and the implanting procedure is very safe and sterile.

but it's okay i'll just raise my three children from a the confines of a wheelchair.

the shape of the ad itself would make it impossible to include very obese women

also i can't see any reason why levis would be obligated to do so

addressing obesity is the job of the us government and health organizations

(also adults themselves)

levis makes pants and is therefore not responsible to do anything beyond manufacturing products that fit their advertised description

the npr story talked about how people need to accept the behavior of these parents and find ways to turn it into a positive situation

i disagree

helicopter parents are patronizing and ultimately self absorbed

if you really care about your kid you will have enough foresight to recognize how such erratic behavior will negatively influence your childs life and learn to hold it back

i mean seriously people

i don't think the fact that she was a texan had much to do with her complete lack of reason. i don't know why you guys are all focussing on that. she is clearly mentally disabled to some degree and the state she lives in probably isn't the cause of that.

wow, as a big big fan of boardwalk empire i knew there was a bit of cgi involved, scenes like the first one with the large boats are fairly easily to take notice of if you're looking, but i had no idea how much cgi went into little things.

90% of the show is beautifully subtle in it's use of the cgi backdrops and this video was brutally impressive.

the planning for all this seems mind boggling as well.

you could always say "you’ve been caught sneaking about THE WORLD OF Skyrim, pilfering gold and soul gems and such"

because cyrodiil and skryim are in the same world

they are both regions on the continent of tamriel on the plane (planet) of nirn (also known as mundus)

srsly why don't i have a girlfriend

that looks like a guard from oblivion, a game which took place in cyrodiil, not skyrim which takes place in skyrim

it is in the same series (elder scrolls) but was the game which came out before skyrim

in unrelated news i don't have a girlfriend

as a big fallout fan i am dissapointed that i won't get to play any more fallout games

mmos aren't my thing

i don't like relying on other people as part of a game experience and i have no interest in using games as a means to make friends or socialize. i would rather play an rpg style game with npcs and then go to the bar and socialize.

the game bioshock uses a version of the pipeline concept as a computer hacking minigame

seeing as how the games are take place in a somewhat steampunk setting it almost makes sense that they would have computers that are hydraulic instead of electric.

keyword almost.
