After watching the first episode of Lost, I said to my wife that I suspected that the people had died in the plane crash. Then I said that no show would be so derivative as to copy the Twilight Zone.

Years later, I decided to watch the last episode, having seen none but the first. Sure enough, my fear was realized. Everyone's dead.

The best ending would have been to go back in time and cancel the series at its pilot stage.
