Your experience confirmed my initial thoughts. Another thought - if you accumulate Personal Time Off and are laid off or perhaps leave the company in some other manner, you are often entitled to the cash equivalent of your accumulated PTO hours, depending on the laws of your area, or the custom of your company. When I was laid off from two high-tech companies, in addition to my three months severance, my PTO was also cashed out. For the first company, my PTO gave me almost ten grand (I never used my PTO cause my director never charged my PTO account.)

This unlimited time off thing looks like a nifty way to skirt labor laws.

I really don't know why you felt moved to write your condescending, humorless comment, P.K. Perhaps the mention of 'Jewish' without a negative slant spawned your comment?

I just noticed that you went through the process of registering just to leave this comment...typical of your kind I guess.

It's interesting. Most of the people commenting in this thread I never have seen before. They have only signed in to bitch and cast laughable, humourless, negative aspersions and absurd, personal abuse and accusations.

Lowest Common Denominator is Lowest Common Denominator, doesn't much matter if liberal or conservative. Ideologues gonna Ideologues and all of that...

Hey there Mag Pie - I have some holocaust humour for you. I'm sure you'll get some big laughs out of it - it's a great hard cover cartoon book. Its name is:

We Have Ways of Making You Laugh: 120 Funny Swastika Cartoons

Just copy and paste the title into Amazon or Google.

L'chiam!

I don't think humor was the intent of this posting. I think this was posted to give us the opportunity to make fun of, and point out how wrong these idiots are, and their 'research' is. I also believe they left something off their list, which belongs right below 'potato(e)' chips - the 30 pack of Milwaukee's Best.

I would give it a quick read - then give it back. I would absolutely not leak anything. I would, after giving it back, try to use the the momentary goodwill I gained to get one or two autographs, or make a non-obnoxious request to watch some bit of behind-the-scenes production.

Readthrough draft - cool - hadn't heard this term before.

There is nothing wrong with leaving your dog off the leash at the beach, at least in terms of the dogs safety. Also, whales don't bloody eat dogs. Not even 'killer whales' -- Orca -- which are actually large dolphins. There are only two known incidents known in which humans have been harmed by Orcas, and both were not fatal.

Now in terms of dog shit -- and depending on which beach - and whether or not the shit gets cleaned, maybe we have problem. The Oregon coast, about an hour from me, not a huge problem. Beaches where people lounge, swim, like they do at swimming pools -- problem.

These sort of things happen very fast. The videographer likely did not have enough time to react, except for continuing to film, just like the other observers.

Also, the Orca just isn't expected, to cause harm to humans and dogs (only one or two cases, NONE was fatal.) Also, dolphins - Orcas are large dolphins - aren't exactly something we usually think of dangerous.

Well, I think I'm done pedanticizing -- for now.

Well, the "what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas" is once again, shown to be marketing malarkey.

Steven, it's my understanding, at least explained to me by various friends who belong to the Church of the Latter Day Saints over the years, that the non-mainline folks who call themselves Mormon -- are Mormon. They are not however members of the LDS church. My friends, though belonging to the LDS church, have family and social ties to various non-LDS groups -- I understand that they are biased.

So, at least according to my friends, non-mainline Mormon = non-LDS church member.

Steve - if you're an LDS Mormon, I'm not trolling you. I personally am a Secular Orthodox Jew, and despite long conversations between my friends who are LDS and me, I have still just as much confusion their people that they have about mine.
