Driving small frail cars, in my experience, makes you a very much more careful driver. Although I tend to have large estate cars now, I spent much of my youth in things like Fiat 126s or Minis/Austin 1100/Allegros. IT makes you very careful indeed! I've not made an insurance claim for over twenty years, which is probably getting on for 300,000 miles.

I cut a hole in the floor of the boot (trunk in ths US) and welded a metal cash-box flush with the floor. It's hard to get at from underneath as the towbar bracket is in the way and from above you a) can't see it 'cos it's under the carpet and b) it's locked.
Very handy for foreign travel when you have passports with you but don't want to leave them in a tent or take them onto the beach or carry them round medieval towns.
Takes the SatNav, too.
Why don't car makers provide a sercure locker?

Very much a local culture thing - I've never heard of half these businesses, let alone know them at a glance from their style of building. Except Pizza Hut, of course - their One Shape Suits All is unmistakable.

I've had to clear up after too many to find drunks even remotely funny.

Why would you attack someone with a weapon just 'cos they're wandering around naked? Seems out of proportion.

It waggled a bit just after they planted it - things still have mass and momentum on the moon - that's all it'd need to waggle.

Kraken poo, betcha. Sea levels rising - won't be long before water-filled tanks start trundling up beaches.

@7 OK - who the hell are you to judge me for having an opinon? ~(removes tonge from cheek, insert smiley of choice here)
See - that just leads to playground taunts. We all have opinions, and many of us voice them. No one is immune to criticism and we all have the right to judge other people, that's what holds society together. If no one were allowed to voice criticisms anyone could do just anything they like - that's not a great place to live.
Where did this attitude that it's not OK to judge people come from, anyway? Why can't I say it's silly? I don't mind other people saying things I do are silly - if we were only allowed to be nice to people we'd soon have someone complaining that we weren't being nice /enough/ or were nice in the wrong sort of way.

If there's any doubt - why not open the door and see if it's suitable?
