The one thing I take away from this whole situation is that you can commit a crime and get away with it if your famous enough. Why should we punish him now? Isn't it the fault of society for letting him go for so long? What point is there to punish him now?

You are correct, but after the death of Tim (the protagonist if the show really had one) it only finished out its 1st. They are still in business and doing well. I would almost guarantee you would get better quality and quicker response if you got one of these from them.
