Very nice! Those kids were dodging back in forth in front of the streetcar just to do it, apparently...sort of like chicken? Looks like kids (and drivers) have been the same for a long time!
I love to browse other people's bookshelves! Wish I had room for more.
I think bookshelves will be around for awhile yet- when we really like something, we buy it. E-copies are easily damaged, lost (of course- replaced, too)- and I find it hard to really keep on top of what I've read and what I haven't. A book on the other hand- always my first choice.
And- the arms that are supposedly Saddam's forearms- those cannot be from the same person- would have to be modeled after 2 people not one as they depict 2 right arms.
The sound was interesting. Hadn't seen anything old for a long time and forgot what the sound was like... all the same... and the men's voices were interesting, too
I have seen all kinds of stuff shared online- addresses, telephone #'s, email adds, pix with people labeled by their full names, dates of birth... everything. I agree- it would take dedication to sort it all out and come up with something useful... but what about the weirdo that focuses on one person and then looks for everything he can find about that one person... and comes up with a complete portfolio... I try to be careful...
ps- in the grand scheme of things, of course, competing in that many high level competitions is a pretty big deal already... I mean- I never have... not even once... hmmmm
King Tut had a butt... giggle I missed that one in my childhood! But I just went and looked up Steve Martin's King Tut song again... my favorite honkey. I loved that as a kid!

I'm curious, though. Are there not regulations about overloading? Or what's the deal?

He's good all right... but, umm, this performance?
Not your typical thief apparently...
hmmmm
