In The Netherlands, using a dog as a power source is forbidden by law, since 1961.

Before that time it was dog scooters, carts, cabs, taxi's, busses galore in Holland.

But no kidding: There's an exception, since 1996, for mushing, but only for certain dogs. This version, the scooter, wouldn't be allowed.

And IMO rightly so! Looks rather dangerous, to the dog as well as the rider.

In Holland we have a kind of thingy with a spring to attach a dog safely to our bikes, for training.

Ortolan is actually delicious, especially since it is eaten whole. The juicy flesh combined with the crispy bones is a delicasy that compares with nothing.
Of course the way the birds are caught -sometimes also using glue sticks- is 'inhumane', but also the eating of the birds (usaually 3, since they weigh about 50 gram each) is considered unfit to do in company. Hence, the french eat their Ortolane with a napkin covering their head and hands!
Incidentally, Ortolane was the last meal former French president Mitterand had before he died...

That's not a spider: it's a potato with a face and seven 'sort of' legs.
A proper drawing would distinguish the cephalothorax and abdomen.
So, the drawing is maybe rejected because it's not one of a spider?

I don't want to spoil the mystery, but it's a viral campaign by Dutch artist Ego Leonard, who is currently showing some of his work in London: Truman Brewery (off Brick Lane) from 31st October to 6th November.

The lego man has travelled before, see Ego's website:

Isn't this called a caravan? The fore-runner of the camper or motor home?
In Europe, people who can't even afford a proper(!) trailer live in it.
This is not smart, it's sad...

Only In America! Poor, poor boy...
Who is sicker, his parents who put him on the internet,or the boy himself, who suffers from some terrible diseases?
The bright side is he probably won't live long enough to develop a mental trauma aubout this clip.
