2: I struggle to say this, but she is _technically_ qualified to be vice president, being that the constitution gives no qualifications other than those to be president - 35 yrs old, natural born citizen, ect. On that note, in terms of experience, I don't think she's ready. Hell, I've read interviews with people she worked with years ago who don't even think she's particularly bright.
I think we need to look more to her past works than her looks. She was a beauty queen, an intern for a sports caster, mayor of a town that wouldn't fill up a sports arena, and governor of the most ass-backwards, redneck state in the union. She was nearly recalled in her mayoral role. She is still being investigated for firing the husband of her sister (who apparently cheated on him, and asked Palin to have him fired) She was 100% for that "bridge to nowhere" before she was 110% against it. In fact the money stayed in her hands, and they're currently building a road out to where that bridge would have been. She and her husband may even have ties to a secessionist movement in Alaska. She claims to be a "reformer and a maverick" but she got elected to Governor partly on the premise that Alaska deserved a public official who wouldn't bilk the taxpayers by charging per diem for days spent at home. She then charged taxpayers for over 300 days spent at home.
Seriously people, there are good ways to make a point, and there are terrible ways.
