It's insane how regulations in schools are becoming more and more restrictive and ridiculous.
When I was younger, we used to play king of the hill in the schoolyard at lunchtime during winter... kids can't do that anymore...
One of my friend has a nine year old you loved to sit on a swing and twist it as much as possible to create a vortex and make himself dizzy.. he can't do that anymore because he was put in retention after school because of this.
...And that's only a short list of what I've heard from parents who are all equally as discouraged about this as me. My oldest will start school next September.. And I can't help but look at this with apprehension.
There's a few black squirrels where one of my aunts live... In trois-rivières, Quebec, Canada... she had like 2 that were coming daily in her backyard to beg for some nuts :)
Wow, Relax people. Neatorama isn't exactly a news blog, it's an Entertainment site. I run a blog similar to this one, but more focused on technology, and I've done similar stuff in the past, and never regretted it. While there's a lot of people who will complain, most readers will just read the post and see the humor behind it.
If you think that Neatorama is posting misleading headlines, try reading Gizmodo... or even better, head over to Reddit or Fark. Boy are you in for a SHOCK.
People who run big blogs like this one make a living with traffic. The more traffic, the more money comes in. No traffic = No Money = Can't hire writers = No Awesome blogs.
