Ted's Comments

I might agree if it were thongs and speedos all around, but maybe I missed the controversial stuff.

And Brazil is in America - the Southern one. ;)

Gross haircut, but it is pretty silly to suspend him for it. Of course, there's the whole slippery slope viewpoint - if they let him get away with this, pretty soon there'll be hair-inspired anarchy in the halls. ;)

Dizzy. It would have been even better if he had to dodge people.

OBviously he made it down okay, but I found myself wondering if they would ever post footage of someone who didn't quite make the curve and went flying off the mountain.

Feodor - our distant ancestors are all dead because that was a really long time ago.

It's a flawed premise since tree-dwellers have no need for privacy, and since the branches and leaves of tress in the jungle/forest setting probably actually provides a modicum of privacy that a transparent house wouldn't provide.

Killgore, completely unrelated example. Unless you're saying there was an entire baseball team and stadium full of people watching the consensual and reciprocated touching.

I don't think that kind of play is in the rule books - have you ever tried to get some on a baseball field? The outfield's fine, but the infield's all gravel. Ouch.

It's not unnerving. It's rather sweet. It reminds me of the day I filled out my passport application. Or when I renewed my drivers licence.

Sigh, good times.

I seem to recall a short video about how some classic movies would have turned out if they had cell phones. Pretty funny.

This one wouldn't have worked because there are no cell towers in space around Tattoine.

RD: I thnk Craig's first comment was fine before he started going off the deep end. My only question is why should we treat women any differently from men?
Men and women come in all shapes and sizes. Some men are not as physically strong as some women.

As for this being about Catholicism, the school may not be associated with the Vatican, but does it call itself a fundementalist Catholic school? If so, then that's not really making s**t up. We can call an obscure Muslim group a fundamentalist Muslim group if they indicate that's what they are, even if they're not part of an official group. It's what they identify with.

Thanks for clearing up that the earlobes are stretched - I would have sworn those were gaping holes. But "stretched" is completely different.

As for your hearing my message, I'm impressed that you can hear me typing this - I have to get one of those quiet keyboards.

Sorry if my having an opinion about the damage to one's earlobes offends you, April. How does that affect you? It really shouldn't, but I suspect you don't mind being offended.

I think you're not being entirely honest when you say nobody minds your ears. I think you probably like the attention, and you seem to go out of your way to attack people who comment on such questionable choices.

I would suspect that you are probably fairly used to people staring at you directly in the eyes or who glance nervously to the side a lot, in order to avoid looking at your tautly stretched earlobes. Don't worry; I'm sure they're just ignorant, too.
