Ted's Comments
I admire the intestinal fortitude of those who were able to stick through it for longer than 15 seconds.
Beating a dead horse, yes. Why bother trying to find out who it is? Looked and sounded awful. They can't all be Stephen Colbert, but please...

Well, these rules really aren't so terrible. To ask a factory to actually consider the mental and emotional side of their employees was a good thing.
I'm sure they had the same type of rules for men - married ones being more reliable, huskier ones stronger than skinny ones, younger ones more adaptable than older, etc...
We still go by some of these ideas today. Some of the other ones in the link are a little wild, but you're talking 60 years ago. They're still progressive in comparison with many other cultures' attitudes towards women. At least women were allowed to show their faces.

You've hit on something, Miss Cellania: misrepresentation of the facts.
The reported implies that the police discovered the truck across the street after looking at the security tapes. Nowhere does she report that they found the truck first. So, which story do we believe, the one in the video, or the one in the linked page? I only saw the video.
In my comment, I wondered why the truck owner did not look around the neighbourhood a little while waiting for the police. That point is still valid.

So heavily edited within the first two seconds, it was irritating, and I gave up. Maybe they edited out the parts where they were feeding her lines.

What was easy was the fact that he had a safety net. At any time, he could - and ultimately did - walk away from life on the streets.
He had hope - no, that's not right - he had the certainty of an end date to his adventure. I would say poor people live without that certainty, without even the hope of somehow climing out of the abyss. There's the difference.
And as for being white and male - come on. There are plenty of white homeless males out there.

None of them looked in the parking lot across the street until they saw the security tape? I woulda maybe looked around a little while waiting for the cops...?

Yeah, not as fun as what I thought rollicking meant.
Thought maybe he was going for one last kick at the can, and woke her up mid-boink.

The obvious explanation for that is that all the extra material that fit together there flew out into space and formed the moon. If you were to flatten the moon, I'm sure it would fit in as the missing piece to that puzzle.
Of course it's fake, since the earth is exactly the same today as it was millions (or billion or trillions) of years ago, when Xenu first deposited the bodies of countless aliens into our volcanos, trapping their souls in our bodies.

lol, Alex.
That was one vicious zebra. Knocks someone down, then goes back for more.
I like how it kicked ahead using its rear leg. Not exactly authentic.

Well, to be picky, it's neither football nor soccer. It's boys kicking balls around and flipping.

I would say the real final reversal would be that it was heavily insured.

Not living in the States, my chances of dying from a firearm assault are probably much lower.

Cool video, though.
L - I hope you have the stats to back up your claims that more people are killed in car accidents than freak wind turbine accidents.
