If you had pointed out that the Daily Mail is a tabloid with a tendency to exaggerate stories that put Islamic people in a bad light, I would have agreed with you, but still pointed out that it wouldn't make this story any less possible. I am sure there are situations like this in Saudi Arabia, just as much as there are weird polygamists in Utah.

Just watched the video. Dink has some sort of bracing system holding him in. So, he flails his arms around, and looks all precarious, but he's fine. The people on the street should roll away his damn egg.
Granted it is the Daily Mail, always looking for the weird and exotic Islamic traditions. But this doesn't sound too far out of line for a society that requires women to cover their faces in public.

Silliness. If a plant is placed in the same maze, with nutrients at one end, it would be intelligent? Its roots would fill out the same maze, and in the end, the root that finds the nutrients would grow the strongest. Same result.

Yeah, mostly signage problems for the litre in Canada. They had to figure out where to insert that extra digit. Some places still just show only the last two cents, and the dollar digit is assumed.
