An old, fat person?

Thomas, when you think about it, that dog spent most of her life in the shelter, where they loved and cared for it, and she met lots of other dogs. Now, she's spending the last few years of her life in a different environment from what she's lived with all her life.

If the shelter was so awful, seems a little cruel that they'd keep going her there for 11 years. Reminds me of the convicts they let out to die in the real world after 50 years in jail.

At work, I dealt with a native guy whose last name was Nothing. At some point, one of his ancestors was told to pick a name, and he picked Nothing.

I think the al-jazeera you see in Burlington is one hell of a watered-down version of what you see in Qatar. This is thanks to your "system of censorship", where channels must be approved before they can go on the air.
