I don't think I'd call it cruelty, but that dog was not having fun. It's one thing to put something on the dog, another to strap it on so that the dog can't actually get it off. Not cruel, but not nice.

Every so often, someone comes along to rehash this claptrap. Forget about everything the character does in the movie, but focus on the body. The researchers are just as sexist as the people who create this "unattainable image".
Interesting how it shows the bias in journalism. I counted maybe four people with glasses - one appears to be a pair of sunglasses - in that crowd of approximately 20 people. But the writer felt the "spectacles" were important enough to mention in the article, leading, without the picture, to inaccurate assumptions about the entire group.
