It's a pretty sad story, obviously many people in the US government are not so happy about the Swiss banking fraud being exposed. The main lesson to be taken from this is that you can't trust the US government; imagined if you are a potential whistle blower against powerful interests and you read this story, how are you going to feel about it then? Yeah, blow the whistle mate, and welcome to the federal penitentiary of butt rape for your reward. It's typical from the refuse that we have running the country today. I'd rather have Basil Marceaux for President than the sold-out rubbish we have had for the past twenty plus years.
This is not a bus it is a vehicle that runs on tracks, presumably a train, and as a train it starts to make a lot more sense. It would be a much, much more efficient solution than building an overhead rail line. The big problem seems like it would be that any car that gets in a fender bender with this thing is likely to be completely annihilated.
Haha, no one like your music because it's so 'good'.
There is a lot of new classical music that has been quite popular, it is found in movie scores and written by composers who actually have an audience. Most of the rest are just academic masturbators, but there is also a small sub-group of con artists who use confidence games to leech off of the intellectually challenged rich (in the best tradition of post-modern 'art').
Yeah, I knew a girl growing up who got cat shit schizophrenia. It was pretty sad. It wasn't her fault her mom would just let the cat shit lay all around the house for weeks and months. Sure enough, she became full blown schizophrenic around the time she graduated from high school. Never knew any other kid who grew up in a house full of cat shit, so it was easy enough to believe this was the cause. As someone else said, the link between cat filth and schizophrenia (especially chronic exposure during childhood) is not a new idea by any means.
It seems a bit speculative and premature. I guess that's par for the course for 'scientists' who study fossils, though. Previous estimates of the body size of Triceratops and Torosaurus concluded that Triceratops was quite a bit the larger of the two...
Bring back DDT and other hard insecticides. Damn green bastards have been trying to make the world a more miserable place to live than it already was. Let them move to the third world and enjoy being "at one" with nature if they aren't keen on civilization.
Agree with AmiBambini, ted, and Twist. Poverty is awfully hard on a person's looks and wealth the opposite. It would be strange if criminals didn't tend to be uglier, THAT would require some explanation!
I can't imagine it is very difficult to make a cure for obesity: a once a day pill or once a month injection that makes people become violently ill if they ever eat very much food. Too bad the disgusting fat pigs will not accept personal responsibility for their choices and the massive food/dieting industry is devoted to brainwashing them that it is not their fault. The sad thing is that you cannot expect a child to know better, even a 14 year old has really not grown up enough to be responsible for their own food behavior, in these cases the obesity is an incidence of child abuse plain and simple. It makes me sick to walk through places like Walmart and see these poor kids whose parents have indoctrinated them into such horrible and incredibly self-destructive behavior from the earliest age.
Because they told a whole generation of western school children that when they grow up the Amazon rainforest isn't going to be there anymore. And, surprise surprise... it's still there, it's still vast, and it's not disappearing 'at an alarming rate!11!!!1!'.
