I had a cat that would jump into the refrigerator. Heard faint sound like the person in the article did and poor thing spent the whole night in there. One would think he would've been traumatized but the dern thing decided he liked it. Never could stop him from jumping in. Made for a fun prank when I had friends over. "Help yourself to drinks in the fridge!" Haha.

"Just as we began the ferret phase of our trials, there was an incident that necessitated summoning the assistance of the fire department. After they arrived and employed the “jaws of life” (which, given all the frantic flailing could easily have become the jaws of death) the ferret was freed, but all of the pieces of the underpants, sadly, cannot be put back together again, as the horses and men of this town are all thumbs."

This has got to be one of the funniest paragraphs I've ever read.

Kathy, I agree with you completely. Nice to know I'm not crazy preferring them stale. I used to be able to crack a package and within hours the thinner bunnies would begin to get crispy. Now I take them completely out of the package and lay them on a plate for days. It's a battle to not have somebody else steal them whilst laying out. And they still don't get as crunchy as days gone by.

Krispy Kreme pulled all their stores in the Houston area in 05 citing franchise issues too. I've been bugging them why they hadn't had new franchises reopen in the fourth largest city in this country and they couldn't answer that. No wonder they're losing money. It's one thing to pare down operations but completely pull out of markets, especially large ones, seems ridiculous. And we all loves us our fried breads down South. It pains me to think I wouldn't be able to get those sinfully good little rings when I travel to Krispy Kreme friendly areas.

I just can't buy this is REMOTELY safe. Computers get HOT. VERY hot. Why on earth would you use a paper product to encase such high temperature electronics? I could see recyclable plastic maybe, but not paper.
