I, too, have played it quite a bit. The first time I clicked in from Neat-o-rama, however, is the first time I won. Obviously, this site is my good luck charm.

The fourth time I played it, I also won. The trick seems to be resetting the game until there are enough existing blocks to make the game winnable.

Not much of a win, however. The image doesn't even stay around long enough to get a good screen capture.

I have a hard time considering a state lottery as gambling. By that same logic, buying car insurance is gambling. He is also restricted from using drugs, but would not be busted for using aspirin.

While I don't the specifics of his probation rules, unless there is a specific restriction against state sanctioned games of chance, I would let him keep the winnings.

Of course, the state should use the money to make restitution to his victims and reimburse themselves for the cost of his incarceration and probation monitoring.

From this time and from this place, let my words go forth. This is a scam and should be looked upon with derision and disgust.

I wish to eat my words for I first worked with solar 31 years ago and have prayed for such an advancement.

Can I gently tread into the middle ground? Since the vast majority of the US cannot grow their own food, they must purchase it at some sort of store. Large farms are the most cost and energy efficient ways to do this.

They do not, however, produce the healthiest or tastiest food. Any movement that encourages the broader availability of truly ripe vegetables gets my support.

Is that really an excerpt? It has more plot in seven paragraphs than many novels.

I love good writing about bad things. Looks like this is right up my alley.

Is it standing on end? Tough to tell on my computer. If so, that is excellent evidence that it has had a weight inserted. Not legal and of questionable advantage.

"proven" That is the operative word.

The newly industrialized world is sucking dry the arab world's easily exploited oil. The US is helping a bit, but is also investing in the exploitation of the next wave: oil sand and coal.

In 50 years all of the easy oil will be gone. In 300, the difficult will be too difficult. Nuclear power will come into its own and polluiton will be gone forever.

Sid: Bravo! I have lived my life by the advice of RAH and have never regretted it.

Meg: Are you available for dating?

In general: Don't you think that list is a bit computer and outdoorsey centric?

It is a bit distressing to me that the author defines "brains" as academic accomplishment. I did not graduate from high school or college (attended both for a bit), but retired at 32.

Screw the establishment. Go make some money. You will be happier in the long run. Besides, people like rich guys better than brainy ones.

Am I the only one who cringes at the sight of a suggestion box? At the concept of anonymously telling others what they should do?

If it should be done, go out and do it. If it shouldn't be done, go out and stop it. If you can do neither, maybe no one else can. Perhaps you can learn to live without (or with) it.

Knee-jerk eco-reaction to anyone using natural products to create art. Should all art come from man-made prducts? Is there a place in your world for man glorify the wonder of god created beauty? Perhaps it is the hand-of-man that raises your bile? Were we not also created by God? Is not art that uses his other creations our greatest glorification of his will?
