Looking at the size of those cars, the only hearse I could have because of the lack of parking space where I live, would be one that only is fit to transport the remains of already cremated people...

"The deposit is expected to last 20,000 years"

...

Wouldn't it make far more sence to look for ways to use that stuff as the next fuel after oil has ran out...?

6,240,000,000,000,000,000,000 or 6.24 sextillion ?

To me that is unfathomable, unimaginable.

Okay, having said that- I also have to admit that all numbers above 10 get a bit out of reach for me... :-P

Dave H my thoughts exactly on the spear-type.

All 3 lances are not from the time of Jesus. This is just a same thing like all the nails that were from the cross of Jesus- If all those spears and nails would have been real, Jesus would have had more of the appearnce of Krishna with his multiple arms and hands and a whole squad of Roman soldiers would have stabbed him.

I never heared of any Biblical texts or apocryphical texts that tell such a story...

If in The Netherlands you see a family (mom, dad, couple of young kids) riding through town on standard bikes and all with helmets on, 9 out of 10 they will be English-speaking foreigners. All the rest of cycling traffic passes them at higher speeds left and right :-D

Humans truly are amazing- With one proverbial finger and without any further thinking they do the most horrible sadistic destructive things to eachother and to the rest of the world, and with another proverbial finger of that same proverbial hand they can do the sweetest, nicest and best things to and for eachother.

Zeytoun and Jimmeee- Here in the Netherlands the general view on helmet-use for bikes seems to be that anyone who rides a normal city-bike in normal city traffic to go to work or to go for groceries or whatever, will not use a helmet. But most people who ride faster bikes for fun or for commuting like racing bikes, fast recubents or mountainbikes on outdoor-trips will voluntarily and out of their own common sence wear a helmet.

Jimmeee the motorbike-rider you notice riding without a helmet, did that because it is a small moped with an engine block of max 49,9 cc's that legally is restricted to a speed of 25k.p/h.. They do not have to wear a helmet. For the faster category moped that legally can go upto 45 k.p/h. you are required to wear a helmet. The legally classified moped can ride the bicycle-lanes under certain circumstances. You can get a special drivers-license for a moped when you're 16 years old. Any faster motorcycle is not allowed to ride on bicycle-lanes, a certified helmet is compulsory and you need a motorcycle-license. You can get such a license from 18 years on just like a car-drivers license.

And so in a noisy bar or club or industrial environment you should wear this clear plastic ball with space-gate like openings to connect to similar spheres...? Plastic spheres around your head??? This lovely student clearly has done a lot of thinking (Not)about the accoustic properties of lexan, perspex or other clear plastics since they all have the effect of reflecting any sound once it has come within the sphere. These plastics all resonate to soundwaves, so any sound will sound somewhat deformed and then multiply reflected. Yep- real "quiet" in there- so much noise in fact that one cannot even here oneself thinking anymore...

Lulu I think lots of boys pityfully will testify that lots of girls still not have had "outrageous number(s) of men by the time they decide to settle down" like you put it.

I think the pill will have had (a lot of) influence, but also a lot in other areas than strictly the pregnancy control- Lots of females I know use the pill as a way to control, manage and time their period and the moodswings and bellyhurts that accompany that. They still not go all-out in sexual activity, but they use it to just have easier lives as it comes to being able to participate in activities that otherwise would be hindered by their monthly inconveniences. So in that respect I do see that the pill can be great as a lifestyle choice.
