These really aren't 'hacks'. They are more like engineering projects using a specific material. A metal box simply isn't high-tech enough to be hacked.
The Japanese corner-people is a bit of a cultural thing the Japanese TV. Many TV shows often have 'panels' containing a host and perhaps guests starts, a series of judges, or commentators. Its like of like the commedians on the "I love the 80s" type show and/or American Idol judges.. sorta. They'll cut completely to them sometimes, but often they'll but them in little picture-in-picture boxes.
Wouldn't it be rotten into a no-longer-butter substence? (dairy products tend to change over time - milk to cheese and all that).
oh, the full article answers that "The butter has changed to white and is now adipocere, which is essentially animal fat, the same sort of substance that is found on well-preserved bodies of people or animals found in the bog."
I'll have to with the others above. AI it really just trickery - making robat seem like they are 'thinking' to (some) humans - and this doesn't change that.
Yeah, the character himself would lose track of time, and even very smart people would be unable to remember how long it was (unless it was a short period of time).
In any case, when the writer of a fiction story says "this is what happened", that's what happened.
I agree with Ted. (also, I like 'They can't take that away from me'.)
I'm thinking his ubisoft coworkers DID try to keep him.
Anyhow, as someone who's been laid-off from his cubicle-job and misses it greatly, I have a hard time feeling much 'bravo' and such for someone flaunting their rejection of a good job.
Yeah, the one thing all these people have in common (besides having photos on their computer and using P2P software), is that all of them were not smart enough to not accidentally share their photos. :P
" As the grandiosity and complexity of the language increased, the judges’ estimation of the intelligence of the authors decreased."
I wonder if this is because the judges themselves didn't really understand the words used, and subconciously the 'dislike of unknown' habit of humans provoked them to be more critical of the work. Thus, when asked about intelligence, they said 'less!' for the works that had more words they didn't understand. (If that's true, then they might have said 'less!' when asked to compare any other aspects, like the author's morality, wit, humor, etc.)
In any case, won't that wear out the drive's interal bits much more quickly? (the drive-opening pieces, in any case).

Dino2: "Today is a good day to find God!"
lol, this is awesome.

It takes all kinds, I guess.
But, yeah, dude looks like an ugly woman.

wtf?
