McTavish, you are correct. The "e" in whiskey denotes all whiskeys made in any other country than Scotland. If you want true, honest to goodness, real whisky from Scotland then you can tell by the label. "Whisky".
In Scotland there are entire islands that are devoted to making whisky. You can even go on the "Whisky Trail" (which is on the eastern mainland) and stop at many roadside whisky distilleries for a tour and samples of their products. My grandparents hailed from Scotland and Islay, an island west of the mainland, has whisky distilleries as their main source of income. Small island and about 9 distilleries. Good stuff!

I have known about these antibacterial gels for years. I have lots of doctors and nurses in my family and they never used them. I asked why and they said that those gels were promoting super bugs to develop and they were fouling up the water table. The best way to sanitize anything is with bleach. Period. They had an interview on NPR and the expert said that bleach will kill anything. The germs do not become resistant to bleach. End of story. Alcohol (any kind) is also effectiive.
Also, there is a very good product out that has:
Alcohol, h20, sorbic acid, Cocomide, disodium edta, aloe and fragrance in handy wipes you can get @ cvs. It's their brand of "antibacterial Moist Wipes". They won't create bad germs or pollute the water table.

I like your page but would you consider having thumbnail boxes for all of your articles on the frontpage? That way there's less scrolling to be done and we can see "at a glance" what you've got going on. A thumbnail box which opens when you click on it that will take you to the full article. Less clutter, cleaner looking, nice sharp little graphics to catch your eye and more room for more articles (and more adverts, too).
Right now you have a lot of empty space on your site. I don't really mind that but I prefer some color and artwork to make me linger at a site.

JFK, MLK, RFK, JFJ jr, ALL of the above you folks have already named, too but the ones that hurt the most for me was JANIS JOPLIN and MARILYN MONROE. They were so different from each other and yet they had a frailty that couldn't let them hide their souls from you. When they hurt, you hurt. Their triumphs were wondrous and their disappointments (like when Joplin went back to Port Arthur after making it big and her school reunion classmates STILL snubbed her) devastating.

Oh! I forgot. We also have the tiny gray squirrels which we call "fairy squirrels". They are very small, quick and hard to see. Sometimes you think a leaf is falling off a tree but it's really a fairy squirrel.

We have black squirrels and the regular red/brown kind in mid-Michigan on Olivet College campus but we have one squirrel that has a black body and a red tail.
