When I saw that pic I said before I read the post, "That must be Santa Monica!" LOL Kinda Ugly, but not enought to hate... Sums up Santa Monica pretty well.
This animating is very moving, The child's expressions and bravery.. Its such a rotten shame this was never completed, it would have been a world wide classic.
A nemo film was released about this time 86 or 87 and it was below standard, kind of a kids matinee film. That may have killed this film. But what a shame.

When I was in high school I fell in love with a Smiths Lp. I brought it everywhere I went and I would talk to it when no one was looking. Meat is Murder if your wondering.. LOL I feel so stupid saying that now, but in a small way I guess I can comprehend falling in love with a thing or object.. Mine sang and played music for me though!

This is just audio animatronics right? Walt Disney already created this in the 60's! This robot is just a dummy, I don't understand the innovation. The new Jack Sparow in Pirates of the Carribean is a much better humaniod animatronic.
I wouldn't want to be employed by a company or business that would treat fat people like this anyway. I go so far as to say THANK YOU.. What a friggin hassle it would be to do all the paperwork and training and then find out you are working for some asshole and have to quit.
