Yes, my siblings and I did many dangerous stunts with stray shopping carts when we were children. Stores are really cracking down though, using wheel-lock mechanisms to stop cart theft. I wonder if people will 'hack' those mechanisms to make one of these for themselves.

3 year old's nappies? I love the word 'nappies' but maybe I was stuck in preschool too early to appreciate someone at 3 in diapers. Unless he's just helping his dad train, then I guess that is okay.

This is why Doctor Horrible should be in charge...
Okay, sorry, just kidding. Truthfully, children have been taught to be skilled thieves for centuries, but I still agree that someone under 10 should be held responsible for such actions.

But someone under 10 should be taken into custody and counseled before this becomes his whole life. A kid this smart needs to be show a better path before he thinks this is all he is good at.

The pictures from the link gave me goosebumps. That place is amazing, Walker is a visionary. The article mentions he's invited school children (as a class) to see his library...Imagine being 10 and being surrounded by human history like that!

I suppose its more interesting that she lived so long than the fact that she is celibate. Nuns are supposed to be virgins, and I believe its easy enough to accomplish!

Also, different people have different sex drives. There are people on earth who consider themselves 'asexual', their meaning being that they are not interested in sex at all and probably see it as a hassle as well.

The Japanese have secretly, TRULY tamed the feline are in the process of teaching them all the business of cute.

That is how you get a cat to wear a hat...you show him profit margins.

McDonald's started in my hometown (not sure how proud I am of that...but its nice to see my hometown featured on Neatorama) and I used to drive by the McDonalds museum (which is very mini) all the time. Its kind of weird that something that started where I was born has exploded all over the world. Well, mostly because we have very few claims to fame.

I've found that amazing stores with unbelievable selection create crazy people. Its the idea in psychology that more choices may not necessarily be better...We are most comfortable when we simply have a routine and 'the usual'.

I went to an organic store recently (in my new neighborhood) that has a secret 'Lounge' with wifi above the main store. Only those with the club card are allowed in the 'Lounge'(the main store has organic cafeterias). When one of the residents complained that there may be too many of the local University students up there, a much older resident told him "You have a right to be there! You tell them to get out!". The whole thing was just insanity in the making.

Which I ooohhh'd and aaaaahhh'd at the sleek, black classic limos of my childhood, I never really understood their appeal once they started to...mutate.

Some of the photos were amusing, but I think I'm from the generation that has seen Xzibit work wonders too often on the every day cars of the people. hahaha. Now a fish tank and the dashboard and a sound system in the trunk of a 4-door is impressive!

Taking all these obscure words OUT of the Dictionary is going to make taking the Graduate Record Examination even more impossible!

On a more serious note, eliminating vocabulary to the void of time and space doesn't seem very practical. Somewhere down the line, we'll hit thesaurus on our word processors and be severely disappointed with the slim choices available.

Actually, I've never been on a treadmill...the elliptical machine is my cardio-workout choice. Perhaps at a slow pace it would be easier to type, answer phones, and such...as a student, I was never able to read very effectively on an elliptical.

As a retail-worker, I was always on my feet. Sitting down at home was both painful and euphoric. I can see how this wouldn't catch on...I am more a fan of the work-out breaks and such. That way you can get your heart rate up and such.
