Well, American cars aren't too beautiful to begin with. I mean, these Corvettes ... they're half plastic, not to mention the inherent inability of american vehicles to go round corners. There are a couple of exceptions, like the GT40, though.
This gives me an idea - why not an actually levitating bed? Using (electro)magnets, it shouldn't be too difficult but nevertheless unbelievably cool. Jet engines is another option ...
It *is* a Soviet tank, just captured by the Wehrmacht and, efficient as the germans are considered to be, put into good use.
I'm Estonian myself, and I believe it's not the only wartime vehicle that has been pulled out from swamps near the area of the most vicious battles, in the northeastern part of the country. I'm pretty sure they fixed one tank up completely, so that it actually had a working engine and was perfectly maneuverable. Notice that the article linked here is six years old, so it might very well have been the same one.
BTW, the name is Mätasjärv, but that's just nitpicking.
Being from a different cultural background, I've never understood this american obsession with smiling. I mean, some people aren't persistently joyous by character, why force a fake smile.
This really is a great site, I'm actually surprised that it hasn't shown up on neatorama before as it's quite old. A very educational and entertaining resource for people whose taste in music leans towards the electronic. The abundant sound samples are probably the best feature (now I definitely know that I'll never go to a speedcore or swedish techno event). It even has a wikipedia article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ishkur%27s_guide
Check out http://www.the-underdogs.info or google for 'abandonware', there are much better sites out there. And you'll probably need an ingenious piece of software, DosBox (http://dosbox.sourceforge.net/) to run such old games.
